“I have always felt a strong responsibility towards nature and the wild, – he says, – and believe I am everything I am because of the ways in which they inspire me. I work for animal and nature conservation through my illustrations and artworks with an aim to increase awareness in our society. My ultimate goal is to be able to give back to nature what it has given me.”
Rohan applied to Bangalore-based Chumbak last year and got through:
“I consider myself to be very lucky working amongst some of the best artists and designers India produces. My job is to illustrate culturally and seasonally relevant, colorful artworks and patterns which would look amazing on products and apparel such as phone cases, cushions, coffee mugs, wall art and lot more.”
He advises to all aspiring designers:
“Carry a sketchbook everywhere you go, you never know when and where you will find inspiration and you’re going to want to have a place where you can pour that thought onto. The future is full of endless possibilities. Create your own!”
