Hats Off Accessories was launched in early 2015:
“We believe in traditional Indian craftsmanship and cutting-edge design to create beautifully made, desirable, modern and quirky leather accessories. The brand has a unique design element, and assures quality and accessibility. We are known for our iconic leather brogues that are inspired by British history yet rooted in Indian craftsmanship.”
Hats Off Accessories showcased its first capsule collection, enclosing leather brogues, in collaboration with Jabong Online fashion week, New Delhi. Thereafter Hats Off Accessories has got great critical acclaim for unparalleled craftsmanship and unique design esthetics. The shoes are distributed at major e-commerce portals such as Jabong, Koovs, Myntra and Amazon.
“Being a women entrepreneur is challenging enough! – Sunaina says. – It’s always a good experience to learn from more people and I do feel empowered to be in an industry that is largely male dominated.”
Her team is always working on new collections:
“Although our range is synonymous with classic footwear made to last for all seasons, we keep adding new products; for Autumn Winter, we are introducing sneakers for men, and for women we have a range of woven leather ballerinas. It’s very important for us to understand our consumer feedback, and at the same time offer new designs. We are trying to promote stylish and comfortable work wear and semi casual shoes, especially for women.”
Sunaina shares the footwear trends we should be looking out for soon:
“The retro-revival trainer trend is taking over fashion and reimagining how we think of the sport functionality of sneakers. Minimalistic perfection pairs well with features such as molded designs in soft suede. Design features are with tone-on-tone colors and nude leathers. Futuristically modern designs will mash-up the retro-revival in shapes and colors. High-tops, Chelsea sneakers and sneaker sliders are seen in leather, neoprene and suede, giving a lux-sport swag.”
